An Unfinished List of Things We Did Not Name the Baby

It took us four days to narrow down our list of names to find what was right for our baby girl.
Here is a list of things that were not on the list, but that might have been apt.

7. Peekytoe (Regular)

Ivy Elizabeth was a very wise choice considering the other listed options.

Plum Chunk would have been my pick. It has a nice ring to it. Would Spittlebit work as well>
Save this for the possibility that she doesn’t like her name during her teen years. Show her the options and she will love Ivy Elizabeth. I wish I had such a list when my daughter was a teen.
Oh my goodness is she adorable. And as much as Henry looks like dad, she favors you- which is nice, when you consider we have a singleton who resembles no one so much as my departed paternal aunt, and not even the departed paternal aunt she was named after! Not a bad thing, she was a beautiful child, but Ivy Elizabeth is lovely. And she in no way resembles Ed Koch. Promise!
Elflily is adorable! You might have to move up here to Ithaca for total acceptance, though. We joked nonstop about naming ours after his two grandpas–Billy Bob. Now I can’t resist calling him Bubbaloo.
And I must disagree with Karen above…I do indeed see the Ed Kochiness! =) Head shape only, of course. Ivy’s a beauty!
